BOSSES at the Devon visitor attraction which hit the headlines this week say they are good neighbours rather than killjoys after asking thrill-seekers not to scream or shout while riding their new rollercoaster
As revealed by the Gazette, North Devon’s The Big Sheep put signs up asking customers to be considerate to neighbours when riding their new The Big One ride which opened on Good Friday, March 25.
The ride has been dubbed as the “biggest, highest and fastest in the South West”, but a sign next to the 28 seat rollercoaster, which reaches heights of up to 13m, is a little less hyperbolic.
It reads: “This is a family ride – not a white knuckle thrill ride. Enjoy the views but we love our neighbours. PLEASE DO NOT SHOUT OR SCREAM! Thank ewe”.
